OVSCA sprints will invade JCS Saturday April 6th for a $1500 to win pay day. Also on the card for the 6th will be AMRA modifieds, Outlaw 4's, Southern Ohio Lightning mini sprints & Mod-Lites. General admission on the 6th will be $15 with pit passes being $30
Races for March 16th are cancelled. Season opener will be Saturday March 23rd. We will be running a full show its also $1 Dog night and we will be paying $1,000 to win for Modifieds. Gates open at 2pm and Racing starts at 4pm
Test n Tune for Saturday has been pushed back til Sunday. We worked the track all day but it still lil soft and needs some prep to be ready. We will start at Noon Sunday and run til drivers are done. Crew still needs to meet at track Saturday for a meeting. Hope to see everyone Sunday...
Everyone please take note, for the March 16th & March 23rd races at JCS we will be moving the times up in order to try to beat the very cold night air.

On August 10, 2013 Jackson County Speedway will be racing the 1st annual "Robert Thornsberry Race Against Cancer Memorial." This will be a 4cyl Outlaw special paying $1,052 to win and $152 to start. Robert had been a huge supporter of the track the last 2 years Ive owned it and many years for the previous owners before losing his fight with cancer. His grand daughter Katie raced as a rookie in the 4cyl Outlaw class in 2012 and son Robert "Bud" has driven numerous cars at the track. This is a awesome purse for the 4cyl Outlaw class and we hope to make this an annual event.
UPDATED 4cyl Outlaw rules for 2013:
1. Gasoline, Cam2, etc. only No alky
2. No aluminum wheels
3. No aftermarket Fuel Injection
4. 10" tires on 13x10 wheels
5. 8" tires on 15x8 wheels (example Hoosier and American Racer Modified tires)
6. All cars will have a 2000lb weight minimum
